La guida turistica ti preleverà intorno alle 7:30-9:00.
La prima tappa sarà piazza Tienanmen, dove potrai vedere la perfetta combinazione della Cina Comunista e dell'antica Cina feudale. Da un lato ci sono gli edifici comunisti, dall'altro i palazzi imperiali. Questo tour panoramico durerà 30 minuti.
Dopo aver visitato la piazza comunista, raggiungerai a piedi il cortile imperiale, la Città Proibita, dove gli Imperatori cinesi vissero e governarono lo stato per quasi 600 anni, dalla dinastia Ming fino alla dinastia Qing. Questo tour panoramico durerà circa 2 ore.
Subito dopo pranzerai in un ristorante cinese tradizionale.
Nel pomeriggio avrai modo di ammirare l'incredibile architettura del Tempio del Cielo. In questo luogo gli Imperatori officiavano il culto del Cielo e offrivano sacrifici. Questo tour panoramico durerà circa 1 ora.
Sulla via del ritorno potrai visitare un negozio di sete cinesi e acquistare dei souvenir.
Intorno alle 17:00 la guida turistica ti riaccompagnerà in hotel.

Jaime, our tour guide, was great. He called us the day before so we could find the meeting spot. Our hostel was very close to Tienanmen Square so we just walked there first. The other places, we went in an air conditioned van. There were only 3 of us on the tour so it was nice to have it be intimate. We had lots of questions regarding the history of all the sites, and he was very knowledgeable. There were points where Jaime would walk too fast or not realize we were taking a picture, but otherwise he was patient. At one point my friend got dehydrated - he was really understanding and let us wait until she felt better to walk again. My friend and I had already been in China for one month and so we had already seen lots of temples - Temple of Heaven was beautiful but at that point for us personally, they blended together. But if this is your first time to China, I would recommend. We didn't see all of Forbidden City just because it's so big, but Jaime took us through the amazing highlights. We ate lunch at a restaurant and afterwards, went to a silk "market". It's really just an overpriced silk store, and then to a pearl "market", or just a freshwater pearl jewelry store. Jaime didn't pressure us at all to buy anything, and we understood this is just very common with tours. I definitely recommend this tour!

Alice our tour guide was helpful with pictures and informative. Did not really appreciate the people at the silk store. They tried to pull the old switcharoo on the products they sold us. It left a bad taste in our mouth and tainted what would have been a 5 star tour.

The tour was great! Since I was there is February there were only 2 people on the tour. Practically a private tour! Our guide, James, and the driver were excellent. Temple of Heaven Park was really amazing and Forbidden City is not to be missed.
