Da sapere su questa attività
You will be picked up at the port by your driver who will take you to the Marble Mountain. The Marble Mountain is a cluster of five marble and limestone mountains which are named after the five elements and is a popular sightseeing location in Da Nang because of its alluring beauty. Stone steps carved into the mountain lead to a Buddhist Pagoda. You can also discover stunning caves and enjoy the beautiful view from the top of the mountain. Marble Mountain is also home to Non Nuoc Stone Carving Village, which is a unique craft village to the South of the city. Situated at the foot of the Marble Mountains, this craft village has a proud history covering more than 200 years. After concluding the first half of the tour, we will head to the restaurant for lunch.
In the afternoon, we will travel by foot to discover the city of Hoi An. This historic town, used to be a prosperous seaport city from the 16th to 18th centuries, is now a beautiful city that cannot be missed while touring the Southeast Asian region. While walking through the city, we will make a few stops to visit Hoi An’s colorful local market, Tan Ky Old House, Fu Jian Assembly Hall and the 400-year-old Japanese Covered Bridge. We can also see local residents raise silkworms and produce silk for Hoi An's burgeoning textile industry.
You will then continue back on your cruise and return to Da Nang Port and then transferred back to your hotel.

The tour is advertised as 11 hours, however our guide brought us back after 8. The tour included a brief stop at Da Nang beach and then monkey mountain to see an awesome temple, pagoda and the Lady Buddha. From the top of the mountain you get a good view of the city. From this mountain, we spent 45 minutes at a marble factory. Although there was 1 carver, the primary purpose of the stop was to purchase some very expense merchandise. Marble mountain is incredible. There are approx. 152 uneven, steep and large steps to climb. The caves are amazing and worth the effort. Take lots of water and make sure you take breaks as you are climbing. The tour company TOTALLY mixed up our lunch so 2 of the 3 people in the group were very hungry. At Hoi An you do lots of walking between the 5 stops. The silk making factory was very interesting, as you see each step of the silk production. Of course, there is lots of time to see the show rooms and purchase the goods. It would have been nice to have spent more time in this historic site and to take more pictures.
Marble Mountain is amazing. Lots of steps but worth it. The stop at the marble factory, not so much, unless you really need a large carved Buddha or dolphin for your garden or home. Hoi An is also fascinating and worth a visit. So worth a visit that we were frustrated by how little time we were able to spend there. Everyone wanted more time for shopping. Nonetheless we had a great time.
I would highly recommend this tour. Our guide was excellent. Hoi An City was a highlight in our trip throughout Vietnam.
