This was our most disappointing tour. Didn't think the bus was going to make to whole trip, the bus driver was sick, and the Titanic tour was so crowded it was hard to see exhibits. You are dropped off downtown Belfast for about an hour and a half in front of city hall - which is a beautiful building, but looking around I could have been in any big city in Canada.
Ok, the attractions were awesome met my expectations perfectly. However, whereas most of the employees at Paddywagon were very nice our tour guide was nice but kind of boring and he came across as disinterested in doing a tour that day. I don't want to mention his name because maybe he was having an off day. He got on the mic and told us some facts about a few things but his delivery was not entertaining nor did he keep my attention. After doing a tour with Wild Rover Tours the bar was raised and the tour guide for Paddywagon did not fit the bill. We had to switch busses if you were a one day tour person which was fine. However, the tourguide driving the bus back was way more entertaining and attention keeping than our actual tour guide. When we got to the point in the tour where you have time to rome about he basically just put us off the bus and said be back at such and such time. He pointed out the major buildings in the city prior to us getting off and being a solo traveler I didnt feel very comfortable going too far from the bus because I did not want to get left behind or lost. The positive part about this tour is these people really try hard to leave on time and stick to a timely schedule so please be on time! This was just one tour guide out of several maybe the others are great but based on this particular tour and tour guide If I have a choice I would not do Paddywagon again.
It was a nice day to visit the center of Balfast but sadly it was so short time to spend there... The Titanic Experience was also a nice place to visit and then the time was ok.
OUR TOUR GUIDE, NAMED LEE, WAS TERRIFIC!!!
