Perfect. Alan met us on time in a Mercedes and it was just the wife and I and him. He was very informative and we could understand him with the accent. Well worth the time and money. d
As a first time visit to Dublin with limited time, we enjoyed the half-day drive around the city's highlights. We were the only couple and our driver, a Dubliner and most friendly man and I am sorry that I do not remember his name, gave us all the time we wanted to visit St Patrick.s and Phoenix Park which is a beautiful place to stroll and take pictures. He explained that the tram construction has slowed the through traffic around the city but is expected to be completed towards the end of 2017 so he modified the drive for this reason. He assisted in making a tour time at Jamison's at the end of the drive and we recommend including this stop. We could have toured Guiness instead but needed to choose one based upon time. We were told the the Kilmainham Gaol is worth a tour but needs to be booked on line in advance. Recommend this tour when your time is limited and want a nice overview of Dublin City.
