È qui che fu girata la serie TV Monarch of the Glen.

Great day out, parkie was our guide and he entertained throughout with his great stories and eclectic music choices
My mum and I were assigned to Duncan's minivan on 5th Sept. As our tour guide for the day, he made the 12h trip just fly past! What seemed like a long, tedious trip (travelling ~320miles) was very easy for us as Duncan ensured we were comfortable and entertained through the whole journey. He even made some fantastic food recommendations from the pies in our first stop at Callander to the Scotch Whiskey ice cream in our last stop at Pitlochry. The only bad thing about this journey were Duncan's jokes so bad you had to laugh anyway
Our tour guide Barney is a great/safe driver and cool guide as well. This is my second time to join highland day trip, but first time for my family, so thanks a lot for giving them a great experience!
This was a wonderful day trip to the Highlands of Scotland! Our guide had a wealth of knowledge including local legends and origins of well-known songs. Our guide/driver kept us entertained the entire day and made frequent stops so we could get pictures and stretch our legs. It allowed us to see parts of Scotland that we would not have otherwise seen (because I wasn't renting a car!).
The highlands were so beautiful but what made this trip so wonderful was our driver, Duncan. He mixed our trip with informative and historical information along with fun stories and even a sing along. We stopped for breaks at the most beautiful places for photos and walking. Longer breaks allowed for shopping and meals. We booked the day trip thinking it would be an easier way to see the Highlands. It was so easy but Duncan made the trip so fun. We learned a lot even during his corny jokes.
Highly recommended tour. Des was the best tour guy. Very knowledgeable and interesting. If you can get him as your tour guide, please do! You won’t regret it.
The trip to Glencoe, Loch Ness and the highlands was spectacular! The scenery was amazing - pictures do not do it justice. My only negative comment would be that is was a 12 hour tour and near the end I was ready to be done!
A very good guide with great knowledge about the history of Scotland and the area we travelled through. Amazing and beautiful views of the highlands and cosy villages.
Jonathan was our guide. If you get him consider yourself lucky. He was very knowledgeable about the sites, gave wonderful historical background at each place and along the drive, extremely engaging and helpful. You will feel as if you were the only ones in the Highlands. Breathtaking nature, wonderful people you meet in the tour and at the sites, and really memorable. Please try the Fish Skink at the inn in Loch Ness. It is delicious! I will take the tour again when I come back to Edinburgh. Yes, it is that good.
The only issue I had on what was an 11 hour long day trip was the Mercedes minibus with very un ergonomic seats. I got a pretty stiff back sitting in that narrow hard surface seat for 11 hours.
Our guide Stephen (with the teddybear with the golden crown on the dashboard) is a terrific guide. He was friendly, helpful en did his very best during the whole trip. He knows a lot of great stories about his city and country. He did a great job! He made this trip very wonderful. So thank you Stephen!
The tour is amazing , the sceneries along the journey are just so beautiful. Jim our guide has done amazing jobs on explaining and telling us the history of scotland .
It was a wonderful experience. The places are beautiful and the tour itself was enjoyable. Thanks to Graham, our tour guide who made the entire journey interesting with lots of tales and interesting facts!!
The tour was great but our bus driver/tour guide was amazing. He had the best stories about Scotland's history. He surely knows his stuff.
It was a nice and scenic tour to take. However, the tour fell under expectations as our guide, Robert, didn't tell us about reserved tickets on the cruise on Loch Ness. We came here for that and was told it was full when all we had to do was to tell the boat operator we were from Rabbie's and they would have let us through. It was very disappointing to travel halfway round the world and not be able to get on the cruise.
Our guide, Jonathan was very patient, always smiling. He is very knowledgeable with good driving skills. The view is to die for especially rhododendron flowers. We took so many stops that it didn't feel like a whole day trip. I also like the fact that its a small group tour. would recommend this trip.
Great tour! Make no mistake, it’s a long day and drive, but you’ll see Scotland! Our driver, BRUCE, was a walking encyclopedia (that’s like Google for you younger kids). He was a great driver and a wealth of knowledge! Viator never lets us down!
We had a great time on this tour. Our guide, Keith, was very humorous and extremely knowledgeable about Scottish history and the many landmarks (both natural and man-made) we passed by. Yes, there is a lot of driving involved, but this is unavoidable if you want to cover as much ground in a single day as this tour does, and besides, the highland scenery out of the bus's large windows was truly amazing throughout. There were an appropriate number of pit stops and photo opportunities during the trip. This is a great tour if you are visiting Scotland for the first time and it will give you lots of ideas for if you want to do a "deeper dive" into any of the locations covered. Very glad we went with this program.
This was a great trip if you have a small amount of time in Scotland and want to see as much as you can. Our guide was Jeff and I can't say enough about how amazing he was. He gave great information about throughout the tour and answered all our questions. My only regret is that we didn't have more time to spend at each location we stopped at, but we knew going in that this tour was only a day long. You do spend a long period of time on the road, but they stopped frequently for bathroom breaks. Would highly suggest this tour to all!
This was well worth the time and money!! Our tour guide, Jim Scott, was fantastic - couldn't have asked for a better guide!
Thank you to our driver ANDY, he’s the best. Super funny and a great storyteller. Van was comfortable. 110% satisfied
Fantastic tour. Check-in was more organized than most tours. Van was nice and comfortable, big windows for scenic viewing and photos. Sound system was above average, so no issues hearing the driver as he told us about the history, geology, and myths of the landscape. Many stops, none of which felt pressured to purchase items like other tours. We traveled with our family, including grandparents and children - all enjoyed their time. Perfect for seeing the scenery, even with older folks with limited mobility. I do wish there was a bit more time to enjoy a leisurely lunch at Loch Ness, but understand that it's already a long day - so needed to get moving again. We've been on many tours, both coach and small van tours - this was the best organized and presented tour we've been on.
Beautiful sights. Ally was a wonderful tour guide. Lots of knowledge and humor....would definitely do another tour with this company!
My son and I had a fabulous time on this tour! Not only was the weather great for it (sunshine and no rain?!!), but our tour guide, Stefan, was hilarious!! We are still laughing. He gave so much history and explained everything with such humor. LOVED HIM!!! And we saw so much!! Thank you for all of the stops along the way! I love Scotland and can't wait to go back!!!!
We are really enjoy this trip. It's my parents' frist time to Highland. And they love it! Our tour guide is very nice guy, he explains everything well and he is also a great safe driver. It's really nice to enjoy the beautiful views of Scotland again.
I loved our experience with Allan, our driver. He did offer us stops during the trip at the highlands and it was great. However, I think I would skip the last stop after Loch Ness so we can spend more time at the Loch Ness. One and a half hour for lunch and Loch Ness is not enough.
Very good value for trip and didn’t expect to visit as many lovely places on the way to Loch Ness. Dave O the driver was very friendly and you could tell he enjoyed his job :)
The tourist guide was knowledgable and funny. If you’re expecting a breathtaking and spectacular scenery, you may want to check a different kind of package tour. The trip was too long and not worth spending the whole day on the road in my opinion. I prefer the Golden Circle tour.
