Alle 9:00, inizia il tuo tour di 1 giorno sulla strada più famosa di Edimburgo, The Royal Mile, dove la tua guida autista fornisce informazioni sull'affascinante passato di Edimburgo. Mentre ti fai strada verso Stirling, ascolta la storia del vero "Braveheart", William Wallace. Esplora uno dei più grandi e importanti castelli della Scozia, il Castello di Stirling (a proprie spese) e goditi panorami incredibili dai bastioni al Monumento di Wallace. Se preferisci, vaga semplicemente tra le vie storiche della città vecchia di Stirling.

Successivamente, ci dirigiamo verso il Duke's Pass con una vista mozzafiato sul Parco nazionale del Trossachs e sul lago più romantico della Scozia, Loch Lomond, imparando sull'ispirazione per una delle canzoni più famose e amate della Scozia lungo il tragitto. A Loch Lomond, parte del Parco nazionale di Loch Lomond e Trossachs, goditi la vista della più grande massa d'acqua dolce del Regno Unito. Ammira semplicemente i panorami, oppure goditi una rilassante passeggiata sulle rive tranquille o una breve escursione fino a Craigie Fort.

La nostra ultima tappa della giornata è una distilleria di whisky a Glengoyne. Assapora lo spirito della Scozia mentre le guide esperte ti guidano nel lungo processo di creazione della bevanda nazionale scozzese (a proprie spese). Se il whisky non è per te, è possibile fare una passeggiata fino alla vicina Dumgoyne Hill e catturare le viste della cascata annidata dietro la distilleria.

Perfect day out of Edinburgh. Great stops and Glengoyne is a wonderful small distillery to visit. Lots of information from our lovely tourguide John (or Lord John that he wanted us to call him:))

We really enjoyed seeing these interesting places. Tour guide was knowledgable and friendly. It’s a long day but well worth it. The only negative is we got rubbish seats on the bus. We arrived 20 minutes before tour left and were last of 16 people to board the bus. Which meant we had to sit at the back of the bus in a row of four which was a serious squash and meant we were all uncomfortable. The seats are child sized. We would definitely book again, but next time arrive an hour early and try to board bus in time to get either single or a pairs seat.

The driver (Rory) was great, told stories and made an extra stop at the bridges for photos. He kept us on track even though we had a couple stops take long.Sterling castle is less crowded than Edinburgh and we had plenty of time. Loch lomand is beautiful and the distillery was perfect!!

Overall the tour was ok, not not great. Sterling Castle visit was good with enough time. Couldn't get enough time at Loch Lomond for the usual Cruise through the Loch. Visit to Distillery was also good. The guide/driver was quite friendly but should have given more information about the various locations. He missed to give lots of information of major landmarks.

a very interesting day out from Edinburgh , are guide was very good , are first stop was the stunning Stirling castle , where we were given a free tour which was very interesting after a lunch break we were taken to see loch Lomond but my highlight of the tour was the Glengoyne distillery tour , it was the first time I had been to a whisky distillery , and was explained how the whisky is made starting from the barley grains, and also learnt the difference between blended and single malt also got try try some great whisky I would recommend this tour while in Edinburgh
