Goditi il tragitto dal centro di Francoforte, per un viaggio rilassante lungo la strada panoramica che si snoda verso sud attraverso le colline pedemontane delle Alpi Bavaresi. All'estremità sud della magnifica Strada Romantica, raggiungerai l'incantevole cittadina di Füssen, a circa 260 km a sud di Francoforte. Arroccato su uno sperone roccioso che domina la valle c'è il castello di Neuschwanstein, lo stupendo palazzo in stile revival neogotico di Re Ludovico II di Baviera, che ispirò la Bella Addormentata di Walt Disney.

All'arrivo al Castello di Neuschwanstein, evita la coda all'ingresso e inizia il tour guidato. Con quasi 6.000 visitatori al giorno, e meta apprezzata tutto l'anno, Neuschwanstein vanta lunghe code all'ingresso, che però tu potrai evitare, entrando direttamente con la tua guida.

Uno dei tre palazzi costruiti per ordine del re, Neuschwanstein è di gran lunga il più caratteristico, per l'altitudine, la grandiosità e gli interni riccamente decorati. Visita gli interni del castello, dove la ricchezza di Re Ludovico si manifesta in tutto il suo splendore, con i suoi appartamenti opulenti e una collezione di dipinti storici, mosaici e ornamenti rappresentativi dell'alto livello dell'artigianato di fine Ottocento. La guida ti fornirà informazioni affascinanti durante il cammino, descrivendo il timido re che usava il Castello di Neuschwanstein come rifugio personale durante il suo turbolento regno.

Dopo il tour, avrai un po' di tempo a disposizione per passeggiare nei giardini del castello, acquistare qualche souvenir e goderti le opportunità di scattare foto spettacolari sullo sfondo delle Alpi Bavaresi. Nel pomeriggio, torna a bordo del veicolo per il viaggio di ritorno a Francoforte e gusta il pranzo al sacco che ti verrà fornito lungo il tragitto.

We were just three of us booked for the tour. Still the company honoured the committment It was more or less like a private car tour on a luxurious car. With such a distance to cover we took full benefit of Autobahn reaching top speed of 220 Great trip, Amazing Value. Absolutely recommended.

Although it was a rainy, cold day in August when we went the tour guide could not have been better! It was myself, my son, and another couple on the tour so there was leeway in our itinerary. Rothenburg was gorgeous and unique. I wished we had more time there and plan on going back! A unique experience -- but be prepared -- the day is a long one. Ours started at 8:30am and ended at 10pm!!

We had a great time on our tour. The tour guide and our driver for the day, Peter was so friendly, informative and made the whole trip so much fun! He drove very well and got us there and back in good time. We loved all the details he gave us on the way and how willing and flexible he was to allow us to have a good time despite the tight schedule. The only things that can be improved are that the van itself was a little dirty and could be cleaner. Also would have been nice to include some time to each lunch or dinner at Rothenburg to complete the tour. Overall an excellent trip and glad we made the choice to go with this tour. 5 stars for Peter who was one of the best people we met during our whole trip to Germany!

Got to see a lot of Germany on this tour. Our driver was very knowledgable and had amazing stamina. Enjoyed extra stop at Rothenburg. Would have appreciated better dinner stop. Glad we took this tour.

Had a wonderful time on the trip, it left on time and returned on time, we were well looked after throughout the day and the driver was excellent, he (Jack) was full of stories and information about the region we were traveling through and was very informative and funny. He was explained correctly time lines for the day and made sure the bus was warm enough and we had enough food and drink for the trip, He was also very helpful at recommending other sights to see after the trip. The castle was fantastic to see and the town of Rothenburg was amazing. We thoroughly enjoyed the excursion and would recommend it to anyone.
