I took this tour the same day I arrived in Madeira and I am so glad I did. The student tour guide was knowledgeable, energetic, professional, and personable and she afforded me a perfect orientation to the island. Since I was staying in the Lido section of fancy hotels, the History Teller guide brought me immediately back to the historical essence of this island while also sharing her favorite spots for poncha and gelato. I highly recommend this tour.
What a wonderful tour! The tour is coordinated through the university and is conducted by college students. Our guide was professional and very knowledgeable. We were the only people on the tour, so we were able to ask questions, take our time and really enjoy the city. I would highly recommend this option to anyone stopping in Funchal.
This tour was amazing. Exceptional value for money. Knowledgeable and friendly guide. You will not be disappointed.
An interesting morning. We found out some of the history of Funchal and enjoyed meeting the students.
