Il tour inizia da Piazza Matejko, nella città vecchia di Cracovia. Il viaggio in autobus durerà dai 35 ai 45 minuti (a seconda del traffico). Sarai accompagnato insieme al tuo gruppo da una guida di lingua inglese, che provvederà a fornire le informazioni principali sul tour e ti seguirà fino all'inizio della visita. Dopo l'arrivo al parcheggio visitatori, cammina per 5 minuti fino all'edificio principale della miniera.
Dopo una breve pausa (in cui potrai utilizzare i servizi igienici, acquistare bevande e snack), ti riunirai di nuovo con il tuo gruppo per cominciare la visita con la nostra guida professionista.
Inizierai scendendo 380 gradini fino al primo livello della miniera. Poi comincerà il vero divertimento! La guida ti fornirà le informazioni sui siti degli scavi e sugli oggetti rinvenuti lungo tutto il tuo percorso, di 2,5 chilometri (1,8 miglia). Nel corso del tour, i gradini saranno sempre di più. Oltre alla prima scalinata, ci sono 820 gradini, ma solo 12 sono in salita.
Dopo poco meno di due ore sottoterra, è prevista una breve sosta nell'area commerciale sotterranea, dove potrai acquistare particolarissimi souvenir fatti di sale. Poi, ti riunirai di nuovo con il tuo gruppo al punto d'incontro stabilito e la guida ti accompagnerà fino all'ascensore. Risalito in superficie, torna all'autobus per il viaggio di ritorno a Piazza Matejko a Cracovia.

Really nice tour of the incredible artistry and ingenious designs amazingly all inside this mine shaft with the incredible story all in Salt! Highly recommend taking this tour and the country side views are nice as a bonus.

The sight itself was awesome. The tour company we went through was a tad bit on the rude side. They changed the time of the tour, which was fine. We were walking there, and apparently we were late even though it was before the departure time. They called us and had us stop to tell them where we were which was essentially across the street. Those 2 minutes would have gotten us there sooner. We were having a hard time getting our check at lunch and essentially ran there. It would not have been so bad if the bus tour guide would NOT have made a face and comment when we arrived. If they wanted to leave at 2:50, not 3 PM, then departure time should have been 2:50, or hold the comments. This was our only negative experience in Poland.

The tour guide was of outstanding knowledge, courtesy and professionalism. I think it was one of our best experiences whilst staying in Krakow. Definitely worth recommending .

This trip proceeded exactly as described. Our guide was very informative enroute to the mine, in the mine itself, and on the trip back to the city centre. The guide moved us along quickly would wait only 5 minutes for a late arrival, who did arrive in time to join us and kept us from dawdling overly long in awe of the wonders of the underground mine. We were unable to take advantage of the complimentary lunch at a nearby beer hall because of our schedule, but that seemed like a great additional benefit to a trip which already seemed like a good value!

Very beautiful, well worth it. The only complain was finding the location of the tour company and once found the tour guide took off without announcing that the tour was leaving. very scary.

Our guide Sebastián was very good and had a great sense of humor too. He was very informative and spoke perfect English. He took us on the full tour and didn't take short cuts like we saw some guides do (which cut out some of the sights). The bus we took to the salt mines was very comfortable.

Loved the tour!! Our tour guide Sebastian was very good, enthusiastic and made the tour so enjoyable. Would definitely recommend the tour.

We really enjoyed this tour and our guide Sebastian was very good. He was very knowledgeable and we enjoyed his stories. The only thing I would say is bring some snacks/lunch in with you. There are several very short breaks and if there are queues you won't have time for the toilet and food.
