07:00 Dopo la prima colazione parti per Taman Negara e visita le famose Grotte di Batu. Sali i 272 gradini per raggiungere il tempio della divinità indù, Signore Subramaniam. (Le signore devono indossare abiti appropriati per poter accedere al tempio delle grotte di Batu).

11:00 Al Taman Negara, la guida naturalistica vi accoglierà e vi porterà immediatamente a fare una passeggiata fino al Canopy Walkway per vedere dall'alto la foresta pluviale più antica del mondo. Il Canopy Walkway è chiuso ogni giovedì per dare ristoro agli alberi. Questa è una decisione del Corpo Forestale. Questa attività sarà sostituita dalle cascate della foresta pluviale. Ti consigliamo di portare un costume da bagno, un cambio di vestiti e un asciugamano. Sei pregato di prendere nota e di effettuare le prenotazioni di conseguenza. Spuntino nella foresta pluviale.
Continua la tua avventura all'aperto con un percorso attraverso la giungla nelle colline Teresek. La guida naturalistica condividerà fatti sulla flora variegata di Taman Negara e scoprirai i segreti della foresta. Potrai scoprire un ecosistema di fiumi, cascate, grotte, montagne, colline ondulate e vegetazione rigogliosa, alcune delle quali possono essere viste durante il giro in barca. Preparati a solcare le rapide, mentre il barcaiolo percorre sette set di rapide del fiume. Poi immergiti nella cultura degli aborigeni e conosci le loro tradizioni mentre assisti all'accensione del fuoco e all'utilizzo della cerbottana. Tutto questo scomparirà a breve a causa delle evoluzioni rapide. Gli aborigeni conducono vite libere e la foresta pluviale è il loro supermercato. Ritorna al ristorante galleggiante per un pranzo abbondante, rinfrescati e preparati al rientro in hotel a Kuala Lumpur.

Since we had to prevent mosquitoes, ticks, sun and scratches, we dressed in light long sleeves, long pants, socks, and sneakers that we sprayed with permethrin before we left for our vacation. We were not aware that the trek would be straight uphill in 90 degree heat and 100% humidity. When we got to the summit, the view was hazy. By the time we descended, we were literally dripping and drenched from head to toe in sweat. We then waited 2 hours in line for the canopy walk (Malaysia Day, a holiday on September 16 that we were also not aware of, caused this massive crowd). Then the skies opened up, it poured heavy rain, and they closed the canopy walk. So we never got to do that. Once it stopped raining, we took a boat ride to start another hike through slippery rocks and mud along a stream. We saw a nice waterfall at the end, but both of us slipped in the stream due to wet conditions. After we got back in the boat, things got better. We went to visit an aborigine village and saw them demonstrate firestarting and blowpipe darts, which was fun to watch. We then had another boat ride and a lunch that was fantastic. We ended the day at Batu Caves, which was impressive! Our guide bought us roti tissue, which was very thin fried dough with sugar cooked Indian style, and that was the best part of the day!The bottom line is that in a tropical rainforest, expect rain and very hot conditions. This was not anyone's fault, but we didn't have as good of a time as we could have if those conditions didn't occur. The guides were great and did the best they could under the circumstances.

This was a great tour but be prepared to spend a lot of time climbing stairs on the hike.

If you are short of time and want to experience little trekking in the rain forest National Park and a quick boat ride then it is OK. Locals suggest you need to spend a full day there, so a night halt is must. As far the trip concerned, you would spend 7 out of 11 hours on road and just 4 hrs in the forest / tribal village / floating restaurant. Don't expect anything fancy. Drive was comfortable but long. Trekking and Canopy walk was very good. Food was just average expected better for the price of the trip. Hospitality and knowledge / engagement level of tour operator is average. For the price charged the trip is not worth it. But as I said, if you are short of time and just need a quick experience with money not a constraint then it is for you.

Amazing!!!!!! Our guides were great! Ram made stops along the way so we could try different local foods. DJ escorted us on the jungle walk and sky trek. It’s a whole other kind of beautiful. Be prepared to sweat like crazy! It’s hot and humid. Loose clothing is best! I loved visiting th local villag
