Guarda il grande cerchio in legno sul palco: il pezzo di quercia di quasi 2 metri è stato ricavato dal palco del Ryman Auditorium, sede originaria dell'Opry fino al 1974. Fuori dall'Opry scatta alcune simpatiche foto alle chitarre giganti e all'insegna del locale.
Una volta dentro, goditi lo spettacolo di 2 ore. Ogni concerto include dai sei agli otto gruppi o artisti da una vasta gamma di musicisti. Tra alcune delle superstar che si sono esibite qui ci sono Patsy Cline, Vince Gill, Alison Krauss, Willie Nelson, Carrie Underwood e Jimmy Dickens.

Seeing the Grand Ole Optmry was very nice - show was okay. Did not like that I couldn't see who was performing to choose which show I wanted to go to.
We sat in the nose bleeds section of the concert hall. It is so steep that I was a bit afraid to look down. However, the sound carries beautifully and there are large video screens that allow you to see the singers up close. I am not a country music fame but found myself very impressed with the facility and the entertainment. You feel as though the singers are all part of a big family and are inviting you in. Would do again if I ended up in the area!
Was a general ticket buy, NO choice for seat, we end up in the Nose Bleed seats, 2 rows from very top, would have preferred to be able to choose my seat
If you are a country music fan I am not, you will enjoy the show and worth the trip.
What a great place to see different country musicians, it was also on live air, which met they did commercials durning the concert..quite different, but the Opry is beautiful and so so much history..

We booked 10 months in advance and chose the most expensive seating option available. During NOv, Dec and Jan, the performances is at The Ryman which was great as this is the original home. We took a back stage tour during the day which was excellent. The performances in the evening were excellent, past and upcoming stars. The only disappointing part was the seats we had been allocated, they were 7 rows from the front which was fine, but on the side. Considering we booked so far in advance i would not recommend booking via viator, just go online and choose your seats, 7 rows back downstairs in the centre would be perfect.
enjoyed the Opry - it was a live radio performance which is tapped and run on the air at a later date - therefore we heard lots of commercials for Dollar General, Humana etc - still fun good music
