Il workshop è guidato da un esperto nel campo dei profumi che insegna ai professionisti nella famosa scuola di profumeria a Versailles ed è anche un consulente per aziende come L'Oreal. La prima parte del workshop sarà una presentazione sull'origine dell'Eau de Cologne a Firenze nel 1221 presso il convento di Santa Maria Novella, gli ingredienti chiave e l'evoluzione attorno al 1725 della produzione di profumo nella città di Colonia.
Nella prima metà imparerai come sentire e descrivere gli ingredienti di un'acqua di colonia e a conoscere le caratteristiche appartenenti a diverse famiglie di odori. Seguirà una discussione sullo sviluppo di diversi tipi di Colonia e Eaux Fraiches sul mercato.
La seconda metà del workshop è la parte pratica. Dopo aver annusato i diversi tipi di Eau de Cologne e Eaux Fraiches, l'insegnante mostrerà un metodo molto semplice per creare i profumi preferiti che potrai portare a casa con te. Sono utilizzati sei profumi diversi (colonia classica, tè verde, piccante, fruttato, floreale ozonico e chypre in nebulizzatori). Tutte le materie prime sono garantite per la conformità alla legislazione europea e alle raccomandazioni IFRA.

Very interesting experience definitely worth trying it out. Cozy atmosphere and a lovely host. We managed to create something we actually like with the help of the teacher. And we took our fragrances home. Fun!

You might think a perfume workshop is just for the ladies. Oh contrare mon fare! Learning the science and formula of how to make perfumes was a lot of fun, and should be at the top of the list with the tower and the arch when you go to Paris.

Loved doing this with my Daughter whilst we were in Paris we learnt a lot more aboutnotes of perfume and what is short and long lasting. Marina was just wonderful, so knowledgable and patient. And her apartment was a warm and calm environment for us to create our own individual perfumes.Great Parisian experience that is just a bit different from the norm.

Highly recommend this workshop! Great venue in a Parisian apartment. It was fun and so unique. I had read earlier that you receive 1 bottle and had the ability to purchase the other scents if you wish and we did, they were a great value! This was the first time I enrolled and it was such a treat! I really enjoyed learning about the chemistry behind creating fragrances. Marina was instrumental in assuring the right fragrance tones were selected to complete my formulas. She was also very patient while answering many questions, and making sure each student in the class received personal time/attention. I would totally recommend this class to anyone looking to experience something really special while visiting Paris. Her apartment is just lovely and provides the perfect back drop for this Parisian event!
