Karlovy Vary è la più famosa stazione termale boema e deve il suo nome all'Imperatore del Sacro Romano Impero Carlo (Karl) IV. Si narra che fu proprio l'imperatore a scoprire le sorgenti termali nel 1358 durante una battuta di caccia. Nel XIX secolo, molti personaggi famosi giunsero qui da tutta Europa per curarsi, tra cui Goethe, Schiller, Beethoven, Chopin e Karl Marx.
Al tuo arrivo a Karlovy Vary, visiterai la mostra del vetro nella fabbrica Moser. Poi, passeggiando per la cittadina lungo i colonnati della stazione termale, potrai sorseggiare l'acqua delle sorgenti minerali, assaggiare dei deliziosi wafer locali e il tradizionale liquore alle erbe Becherovka.

It was a lovely trip. Our guide was very helpful and had lots of knowledge to give us. It was a fun trip and not too tiring as well.

A little bit of confusion at the pick up since the instructions did not say to sign in at the booth that had the name of a different company and we were waiting for a bus to show up but other than that the tour was smooth. The tour guide was very interesting. The Moser factory tour was more interesting than most factory tours that these tours take you to and Karlovy Vary was stunning. After a guided tour of Karlovy Vary we had plenty of time to walk around ourselves and explore.

Nice day to get out in the countryside. The glass blowing factory was great to see. Downtown was an easy walk with plenty of time to shop and have a great lunch. The driver and guide did a great job. Well worth the time and money. We highly recommend.
