Private Tour: Phuket Old Town and Rang Hill Views

In the morning at 8:30am our private tour guide will pick you at your place and transfer to Phuket Budda Temple. The 45 meters high Buddha statue (Phra Phuttha Mingmongkhon Akenakkhiri) is one of Phuket’s landmarks. You can see it from many parts of the island and many visitors stop by during their holidays. A beautiful lotus thrones surrounds it. There are thousands of messages written on white stone slabs around it.

Then you will enlightened the history and significance by visiting of the Wat Chalong Temple . Wats are Buddhist Temples that are important and sacred places for the Buddhists in Thailand.This temple has a sharp and tall roof and typical Thai Buddhist architecture. It is a gorgeous site but entering it will make you realize its importance as a religious place. Calm and serene, it instills a sort of peace in every soul. Surrounded by greenery and full of intricately designed serene interiors.

After lunch our tour guide will take you to Old Phuket Town, Known for its Sino Buddhist Architecture, the Old Phuket town often gets ignored by the Phuket tourist. This is unfortunate as this area holds so much history, culture and beautiful architecture it seems wrong to go to Phuket and not visit it. Phuket old town will show you a wonderful cultural melange. The typical Portuguese buildings fused with the red and gold of the Thai architecture gives the place a very eclectic feel. The buildings are unique and colorful and there are Buddhist as well as Chinese temples that you can visit.

Later you will visit to see the beautiful Phuket views from the top of Rang Hill. It’s a great place for the tourists to get some amazing views in of the city and the area surrounding it. The walk up is slightly challenging but if you do endure it, you are rewarded with an amazing vantage point perched high on top a hill overlooking an amazing valley. It is a wonderful place to watch the sun go down and observe the monkeys which are perennially present in the area.
