Incontro con la guida del tour al principale punto d'incontro o al tuo hotel per iniziare il tour di un giorno al parco nazionale dei laghi di Plitvice. A bordo di un confortevole minivan o autobus con aria condizionata attraversa la campagna diretto a questo magnifico gioiello croato. Basta che ti siedi, ti rilassi e ascolti la guida raccontare aneddoti interessanti sul parco e sulla Croazia.
L'unità e l'armonia del 16 laghi e il loro speciale valore naturale e culturale è rinomato non solo in Croazia, ma a livello mondiale, ed è infatti valso a questo stupendo parco nazionale l'ambito riconoscimento di patrimonio dell'umanità dell'UNESCO. All'arrivo a Plitvice t'incamminerai per gli antichi boschi in compagnia di una guida esperta. La guida ti mostrerà tutto il parco, camminando attraverso la natura mozzafiato e prendendo un tram e una barca che ti consentiranno di ammirare i fantastici panorami. Dal momento che dovrai percorrere circa 5 km a piedi, assicurati di avere scarpe comode e una batteria supplementare per la macchina fotografica, perché avrai tante occasioni per scattare foto.
Il percorso ti conduce attraverso Gornja Jezera (laghi superiori), dopodiché arriva il momento per un magico giro in barca al suono delle cascate di Donja Jezera (laghi inferiori). In qualunque punto di Pltivice è facile capire come mai le sue formazioni di travertino siano un fenomeno naturale tanto straordinario. Le barriere, le sporgenze e le altre forme create da questi laghi, fiumi carsici e ruscelli rientrano in un processo di modifica continuo, che produce gli splendidi panorami che rendono la tua passeggiata attraverso il parco così piacevole. Sono le formazioni di travertino stesse ad aver creato e a creare tutt'ora le tante magnifiche cascate presenti. Con il passare del tempo l'acqua cambia il suo corso, facendo prosciugare alcune barriere e depositando nuovi strati altrove. Questa costante evoluzione fa sì che i laghi di Plitvice siano sempre diversi. Il modo migliore per assistere a questo processo è stando in piedi di fronte alle grandi cascate, alte 78 metri. Il potente rombo dell'acqua che colpisce il suolo è indimenticabile!
Il viaggio si conclude con un giro sul treno panoramico. Successivamente la guida ti suggerirà un ristorante nelle vicinanze per un pranzo facoltativo in cui provare alcune specialità gastronomiche locali. Dopo una giornata indimenticabile tra le foreste e i laghi tornerai al punto di partenza a Spalato o Traù.

This tour was a great way to spend a day at Plitvice. My friend and I considered many angles, such as renting a car or hiring just transportation, for fear the group activity would be hindering, but this turned out enjoyable and much better with the group and guides, as they were relaxing and helpful, and VERY concerned we all had a great, stress free time :) Also, much more cost effective this way than any other option. Of course Plitvice main trails were busy, but it sounds as though that is always an issue regardless of being in a group or not. The restaurant was good as others stated, get the pig on the pit! Expect a long day, bring snacks and drinks, although you can buy water on the bus for five kuna. Tiho and Rocco were awesome, friendly, and made for a stress free time. Thank you both!

My mom and I had an Amazing day. Of course the Park is beautiful. Its like you were entering in paradise . But de also had an increadible day thanks to our guide Igor and out bus driver Tiho (i'am your leader's dad) . Igor gave us Many informations about Croatia, the landscape and Always put poesy in it's words . Thanks you Igor for having made this day even more Magic. As my mother was not sportive, he took his Time and had a slower rythme for her to be confortable. Tiho the driverwas also really nice and so funny. Thank you Guys for both your kindness ans sweetness.

Plitvice lakes are an awesome magical place..one of the best I have seen in all my travel across Europe. Tour was also very nice and about just right in terms duration...though we would have liked it to be much longer with so much beauty around.

This was a terrific day out. Plitvice Lakes and National Park is an amazing place and even though it was snowing and raining this did not hamper our enjoyment. Our guide, Andre, was really nice and very informative. It was a small group of 10 people and this was much better than having a large group of people. The restaurant where we stopped for lunch was lovely and the food very good. I would definitely recommend this trip.

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed this tour. Our guide Igor was fabulous, very well-informed, friendly and spoke multiple languages fluently. The day was long but that was to be expected and it was also very busy in the park this day. However, all ran smoothly and our guide made the clever decision to slightly change up the way in which we navigated through the park in order to avoid the crowds as much as possible. We were very grateful for this as it allowed us to see most of the park in about 4 hours despite the crowds. The park is amazingly beautiful and I would definately recommend this tour.

We visited plitvice lakes and the location was beautiful, but our bus broke down on the way there and the air conditioning did not work. Luckily got a new bus for the way back.. maybe our tour guide could have been a bit more active than he was

The lakes are stunning and you should 100% go! However be warned that the climate is very very different. Take lots of clothes. No one was prepared on our trip we were just told to have a jumper. We had to stop to by hoodies, jackets, leggings and scarves. The tourist shops made a killing.

Our tour was fantastic, not only was our guide deeply knowledgeable, as he was born in Croatia, he made the tour seem like a very interesting history lesson. The drive to the park was long, but there was always something interesting our guide would point out and the history behind the land. The park

With red leaves and the clear water, the lakes were actually stunning. Although it was too crowded with too many tourists, and the big waterfall was not as great as I expected, the tour was joyful. Our guide and driver were helpful, polite and so nice. They were knowledgeable and funny, I had a great time traveling with them. And as some fellows have mentioned, though there were lunch time and 2 breaks, we didn't have time have to lunch until 4pm. So do bring your own snacks or fruits or sandwiches if you are worried.
