Wow what an excursion. Enjoyed the glass demonstration and tour. It was amazing seeing a glass horse created before our eyes. We had rain that day and was suppose to take public transportation to Murano. Tour company arranged for a private water taxi at no extra expense to keep us dry. Very thoughtful! Mosaic class was great everyone enjoyed.

I loved watching the master glass blower work and make his crafts, but it seemed we didn't learn enough about the history of glass-making in Venice or the actual techniques; we just got a brief overview before and during the demonstration but nothing too in-depth. Plus a giant chunk of the time was devoted to letting us browse through a shop.

Initial guide was Clarissa who took us from Venice to Murano and preped us on what to expect. We actaully watched the glass blowing process and each step was explained by Favio the Manager of the shop. Very interesting and worth the trip.

Everyone who was part of the tour was very friendly and knowledgeable. Our guide went above and beyond showing us around Venice and gave us a great tip on where to go afterwards for lunch.

Very interesting and the small group tour is the way to go! Had a lot of fun making pieces and the young girl coordinating that was delightful, even got the guys making things! They will follow you around though to buy glass pieces though, all in all a great time!

The tour was good, but I have done other glass blowing tours that were much better. We took a water taxi over to Murano not included in the cost of the tour, which was nice. When we got there we watched the glass master create 2 pieces, one of which was very quickly. It was quite impressive actually. Than we went to the workshop where you used glass beads made at the factory to create a keychain, bracelet, or set of earrings. It was neat, but slightly childish at the same time. After you were finished you could walk through the shop. I kinda felt like the actual glass blowing demonstration was very short and rushed, but it was a nice day and a good way to get to see some of the other islands.

This was a very poor glass factory. The tour is expensive and the only make 3 glass pieces in about 10min. Then you go and make a bead bracelet. Very disappointed with the tour. Would not recommend. We went for free to glass shop next to St. Mark's Basicalla that was better than this tour. Dont waste your money like we did.
